Animal Fair Prep

Topic: Animal Fair

 

I. Objectives:

        The students will:

                   1-List the animals they observed at the zoo.

2-Hand-in and organize their previously made class work, for the Animal Fair.

II. Materials:

1-     Tape

2-    Scissors

3-    Glue

4-    Cardboards

5-    Invitations

6-    Movie “Ice Age”

 

 

 

 

III. Activities

 

Beginning:

 

          The teacher will ask the students to hand in the list of animals they found in the zoo. The students will hand in to the teacher the work they have previously created during the weeks they have studied the Animals through Literature Curriculum.

 

Developmental and Conclusion:

 

          The teacher will organize the work the students have made, while she does that, she will ask the students to move to the Reading Area, where she will have previously set-up a “movie theater” for the students to watch the animal movie “Ice Age” (about prehistoric animals). The teacher will leave the homeroom teacher in charge of the students as she goes to the library to organize and decorate the Animal Fair. The teacher will also handout invitations to the animal Fair to teachers, the third grade students, and paste the general invitations around the school building.
